Around, Around, Around the Carousel !

We went to the Crescent Park Carousel in Riverside, RI. My MeMe (Grandmother) would go to this carousel as a child and everytime we are in Rhode Island we go and visit. Scott wasn't very excited to go, but after ten rides or so we couldn't get him to go home.

Here is Maddy and my mom getting the ring to throw in the clowns mouth. Maddy also got the gold ring that won her a free ride.

Get it in there Cat!

A day at the beach!

We hit Easton's beach in Rhoad Island. It was a perfet day other than the red algae that covered our bodies.

Watch out Pamala Anderson! (Ha! Ha!)

Point Judith, RI

On our trip the the east coast we stopped by the Point Judith lighthouse. (If you have seen Dan in Real Life, it's the lighthouse he takes the kids to visit.)
I love Charlottes little face in this picture.

What a Dark Knight.

Scott and I went to see the new Batman movie The Dark Knight. AHHH! I thought is was a great movie, but boy was I on the edge of my seat the whole time. All the actors do such and amazing job. All the buzz about Heath Ledger is no joke. He was so sadistic, creepy, and I felt awful any time I laughed at his crazy antics.  I  give this movie two thumbs up, but I agree with others the rating PG-13 should be applied. Leave the kids at home.  We left Charlotte with her Auntie Darci. Our first real date since she's been born. Thanks Darci!

Neil and Rae's wedding!

Scott, Charlotte, and I flew out to Springfield, MA for my cousin Neil's wedding. He married Rae Marie on  Saturday July 12th. We had such a wonderful time party with all of the family. Welcome to the family Rae!

Andrew looked so handsome! ( I wish I had a picture of him dancing. The boy can move!)

                                                       My sisters...aka "my babies".

                                        Charlotte wanted to dance too!

Trip to St. Louis!

At the end of May, Charlotte and I got on a plane to come and visit family and friends in St. Louis. We had such a wonderful time! I got to go to all of the restauranst I was craving while I was pregnant. Yummy...I'm so glad I lived in Utah while I was with child. Otherwise, I would have been as big as a house. Anyway back to our trip...
Charlotte got to see her MeMe again...

and meet her Pop (they did a litte BBQ together)...

her auntie Cate...

her auntie Jane...

her cousin once removed Maya (ask Scott how the 'cousin once removed stuff' works)...

her uncle Jeremy...

her great uncle Tim...

her great uncle Matt...

and her great-grandfather (Great Pop) and great-grandmother (Great Grandma Jan)...

and many more aunties, uncles, cousins (once removed and first)

Here she is with her Papa George (Charlotte also spent a lot of time snuggling with her Nana Pat, but I'm really bummed because I didn't get a picture of it. Sorry Nana)

Four Generations Together

My little cousin Andrew (When I left for college he wasn't even a year yet...crazy how time flies)

We saw a lot of other people who met Charlotte for the first time and it was so fun. Unfortunately I didn't have someone following me to document everything for me, so I don't have a lot of photos. I'm really sorry to those of you who aren't shown and I hope you know that you were just as big a part of Charlotte and my trip as anyone else. We had such a wonderful time visiting everyone, but we missed Scott (He wasn't able to go--as he likes to say, "Someone has to stay back and provide some visible means of support.") So after two weeks we came home just in time for Scott and my three year anniversary. We hope to be able to go to STL for Christmas... and will bring Scott too.

Wow, where has the time gone?

So Charlotte is three months old...wow that was fast. Scott and I are amazed at every new thing she does...everything. Every smile, squeal, toot (ladies toot), and bubble she blows we fall even more in love with this sweet girl. Here are some pictures from the last few months.

Charlotte with Scott's cousin Wendy...look at my baby's sweet little face.

Charlotte and I after coming home from our friends wedding. I Just got my hair cut that day. I got bangs!

She looks like a glazed donut here...with sprinkles.

I don't think she is a huge Winnie the pooh fan. She still looks cute in the baby poop color outfit.
